Last years Guildford Brit Awards was a complete success, and once again Byron played host to the event which was incredibly demanding and exciting, but so worthwhile to be celebrating with fantastic players for one night.

In the early part of 2010 he crossed paths with a fantastic world music singer and vocal percussionist called Randolph Matthews. This led almost immediately to a collaboration with live shows he is currenrtly in the process of making a record for release this Summer with producer/engineer Mark Buck.

It will be titled 'In The Shadow Of Leaves' - which is a reference to the Samurai book the Hagakure.

Both Randolph & Anna Phoebe will be joining Byron for his show at the Royal Albert Hall - Ignite Concert on August 6th, and it looks like they may well all be on the same bill for this years Weyfest 2010.

Weyfest 09, taking place in Tilford, Surrey.

Anna & Byron will be on stage from 7pm, playing songs from forthcoming album 'Vatos Locos', before Anna goes on to join festival headliners Jethro Tull on the mainstage later that night.

Byron will be playing the headline slot on the acoustic stage at this years Guilfest music festival.

He will be on the acoustic stage on Sunday 12 July, the festival runs all weekend from Friday 10th July and is one of the largest festivals of live music festy's south of London.
